"I first came to Above All Massage for post-surgical pain, after an operation to remove a very large benign tumor from my thigh. I was barely able to walk, and therefore could not exercise. As I am normally quite active, I was also hoping for some passive muscle toning until I could get my strength back.

James' work on my sore muscles exceeded my wildest expectations. For one thing, I discovered that what I had thought was arthritis was merely knotted muscles. I felt so much better after the first session that I made the massages a weekly event, and have abandoned nearly all of the arthritis medication I had been taking.

I intend to stay with the weekly massages to keep myself limber."

"I started using massage therapy a couple years back, to aid a real bad case of a pinch nerve in my right shoulder blade. I have tried numerous forms of relief prior to massage therapy, including chiropractic. Within one session of a Deep Tissue massage, through James, 90% mobility was achieved right there and then. Massage therapy was done on my knee recently after my surgery, in which aided a more speediness recovery and mobility.  There is nothing words can put in to place having the recovery without having to use medication."

"after 2 ½ years of suffering from a mysterious bout of chronic vertigo, I had the good fortune of meeting with James.  Previously, I had undergone an extensive medical workup and series of several tests including MRIs and x-rays that revealed nothing to the prescribing doctors.  I had found a chiropractor who finally diagnosed me with extreme subluxations in my neck vertebra due to a repetitive strain injury I sustained on the job, while at the computer.  These subluxations were accompanied by severe pressure on the many nerves in that region.  Adjustments at the chiropractor helped, but for months I still suffered from the vertigo symptoms and knew that a key factor was missing from my therapy.
