Massage / Spa Health Safety

These issues are more thoroughly addressed in our
Consumer Awareness Guide to Spa Safety;
It is important to note, both the therapist and the Spa owner need to institute extra measures in order to completely ensure a sanitized safe place for you, the valued client.

We pay close attention to these matters in order to completely ensure your experience with us is as safe as it is relaxing and healing.

A few quick  points to mention

  • floors - the floors in the treatment rooms are frequently sanitized by a bleach solution and or 70-90 isopropyl alcohol

  • face rests - we use either a disposable cloth or a washable cloth on top of a vinyl or pleather material. (We never use those germ harboring fuzzy / synthetic face rest covers.)

  • You will only ever lay on sheets that are freshly laundered. (We never use the "Linen Layering" technique that some high volume places use in order to save time. )

  • Therapists hygiene - our therapists are impeccable with hand and arm cleaning techniques that ensure prevention of cross contamination from poor nail, arm and hand cleansing.

  • Hot Stones - our hot stone method steam heats oversized stones which are immediately sanitized with soap and hot water. Unlike many places where the therapist is rushed to poorly sanitize a heating crock pot as well as a dozen or more stones.

  • Little extras - we frequently sanitize with alcohol and or bleach solution; door handles, light switches and anything else we can think of.

All of this may seem insignificant or tedious; frankly many therapists and owners seem to feel this way. More over, the overwhelming competition in the industry has caused many unsafe short cuts to be common place.

Above All Massage PC, your safety and well being are the top priority of all the owners and therapists.
